Postgraduate Study in the School of Plant Biology

The School of Plant Biology has strength in research of plant functioning in both natural and managed ecosystems, and provides supervision of postgraduate students working on a range of aspects of plant biology:

• plant physiology and ecology,
• plant genetics and molecular biology,
• conservation biology,
• marine and estuarine science, and
• crop science.

Projects in the School deal with natural (both terrestrial and marine) as well as managed (agricultural and horticultural) systems.

The School offers postgraduate degrees by both coursework and research.
